Up your Skincare routine in 5 steps

Want to take your skincare to the next level? Here are 5 of my favorite tips that you can start doing today!






1 Hydrate!! I'm sure you hear this one often, but it makes such a difference in your skin! It helps clear away gunk and leaves it brighter and healthier!


2. Brush Your Teeth BEFORE washing your face - Ever find yourself breaking out around your mouth? This is the solution! When we brush our teeth, lots of bacteria and other germs get on the outside of our mouths and if we brush our teeth after washing our faces, those germs are left there! Gross!!


3. Use a headband to keep hair from getting in your face- Use a cloth headband around the edge of your face to protect your hair from getting wet and stuck in your cleanser! I've linked some cute spa headband's below!


4. Don't Touch your face!! Trust me on this one, your fingers have so many germs on them that touching your face will just make your skin oilier!! Don't scratch or pick at your face either! You don't want scarring right?


5. Cover your pillow when you sleep - I used to read a lot that you NEED a silk pillowcase, and while I think that they CAN be beneficial for your skin, I don't think it's a necessity! Change out your pillow case every night, or lay a fresh towel on top of your pillow every night!
