10 Books to add to your 2021 Booklist

Non Fiction:

  1. LIVE - Sadie Robertson

First and foremost, LIVE by Sadie Robertson! I LOOOOVEEE this book sooo much! I cannot get enough of it and have read it 3 times! Sadie is of a different faith than I am, but we share a lot of the same beliefs! It is such an uplifting book and has perfect advice for teen girls. She relates religion and real life together perfectly!! She talks a lot about understand who you are in the sight of God and how you can live a more authentic life.

2. Own Your Everyday - Jordan Lee Dooley

I haven't read this one yet, but it's on my booklist for this year. She talks all about productivity and managing your life! She is a superwoman for empowering other women!! (She is very similar to Sadie Robertson haha)

3. Remodleista - Julie Carlson

I am planning to redecorate my room this year (more on that later haha) and I have a feeling this book will be perfect! It talks all about organizing and has a bunch of creative organizing ideas.

Classic Fiction:

4. A Little Princess - Frances Hodgson Burnett

I have loved this book my entire life! It is an easy read, but a sweet story of a girl living in an all girls school in England. Sarah, the main character is the perfect example of what a princess is, and what a princess should be. Such a good story and example for every girl!!

5. Little Women - Louisa May Alcott

I have read the abridged copy of this book before, but I decided to read the full version this year! I'm not quite finished with it yet, but it is better than I thought it would be. By the size of the book, I thought it would be a harder read, but it hasn't been too bad! There are so many good life lessons in this book and it is such a sweet story.

Fiction:

6. Five Kingdoms - Brandon Mull

I recently started the Five Kingdoms Series and I have been really impressed. It is a fiction / fantasy and has some cool Sci-Fci parts as well. If you have been looking for a really creative book, this is the one!

7. The Way of Kings - Brandon Sanderson

I have heard a lot of good things about this author. I have friends, cousins, and even a brother who love him! I always like a book about Kingdoms and Magic and this is a perfect fit!! I am super excited to try it out.

8. Undercover Honeymoon - Karli Iroz

I always love a good romance, and this one looks pretty good! Its about two secret agents on their honeymoon, not realizing what each other truly are! It sounds exciting!

9. Love and Gelato - Jenna Welch Evans

I had a friends read this book a few years ago and really like it. I have read the reviews and it is a clean book, and it sounds cute! A cute little story of an unexpected romance in Italy! I mean, even the cover is so cute!

10. Keeper of the Lost Cities - Shannon Messenger

I saved one of the best for last! If you are looking for a good fantasy book, try this one! It is such a fun series with the most lovable characters!! I have read it many times before, but I am looking forward to reading it again this year.
