The Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe I swear by
We could all use a little more sweet in our lives these days, am I right? Let a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies make you smile (and it works as a good service opportunity too!!)
This is the cookie recipe my mom has always made and recently she taught me! It’s a good thing, cause they are sooo good!! Hands Down to die for! Whenever I bring them for school or an event, people are always asking me for the recipe! *I use semi sweet chocolate chips, but doing half semi-sweet and half milk chocolate chips is delicious too!
Ingredients:
1 Cup Crisco (Butter or Margarine Work Too!)
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup White Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Tbsp Vanilla
2 1/4 Cup Flour
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Soda
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (Add depending on how chocolatey you want them!)
Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit. Combine Flour, Baking Soda and Salt into a bowl and Set aside. Combine Crisco, Brown and White Sugars in mixing bowl and mix together until they are all combined! (I use a Stand Mixer simply because it is easier!) Add Eggs and Vanilla and mix until smooth. Slowly add Dry Ingredients (Flour, Salt and Baking Soda) while mixer is going, creating a thick dough. Once all ingredients are mixed, add chocolate chips. I use a spatula to mix them in.
Bake for 8 minutes (they will cook on your cookie sheet after you pull them out of the oven)
Let me know in the comments how they turn out!
