What I believe

*I am not trying to pressure anyone into religion, and I love and respect all beliefs, but I also love to share what I know and love about my Savior Jesus Christ!*

With Christmas coming up, I felt like this post was very fitting!! This is the time of year that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in all it's magnificent glory! I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

If I were to describe what I believe in one sentence, it would be that "I believe in Jesus Christ and that he atoned and died for me."

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we read and study the Bible and a book called The Book of Mormon. I believe The Book of Mormon to be God's dealings with his people in the Ancient Americas. Just like in the Bible, it holds the words of prophets and God's revelations to his people. In The Book of Mormon, it tells the story of when Christ came to the ancient American people after his resurrection. It is such a beautiful story and one of my many favorites!

I believe that a man named Joseph Smith translated The Book of Mormon through Gods power, and restored his Church on the Earth. Just like prophets in the Bible and The Book of Mormon, I also that we have prophets on our Earth today! They lead us and guide us in these uncertain times! Our current Prophet is President Russell M. Nelson.

I believe that Jesus Christ suffered and died for my sins, just like he did for you! He loves each one of us with an incomprehensible love and he wants us to return to live with him one day! Never think that you are too far away from his love and the hope that he brings. He offers peace, and second chances to anyone who rely on him.
